Fabian Bolin landed his first acting role as Phillip in Daniel Espinosa’s Easy Money, a Swedish crime drama based on the best-selling novel Snabba Cash by Jens Lapidus. The film struck such a cord with Harvey Weinstein, he partnered with Martin Scorsese to present this “taut thriller” to audiences in New York and Los Angeles. In The Last Immortal, Bolin plays Darrell Jones, a graduate student who becomes entangled in a web of extortion that spirals out of control, leading to murder.

“I really like the character,” says Bolin. “I can relate to him both in real life as well as through similar roles I’ve played in the past. This is an amazing story.  Very epic and unique – unlike anything I’ve read before.”  The Last Immortal co-writer Lee Chavis still remembers the “rush” he felt when he heard the news. “Fabian was the first actor to sign on to this project.  After that it was like a domino effect, with so many others wanting to join. At one point I mentioned to Fabian that he was like my lucky charm, and indeed, we are all so lucky to have him.” Since then, Bolin has been featured in several articles describing him as a rising star and “yet another example of the increasing command British-based actors have over the international film industry.” In the article “Britain-based Star Fabian Bolin to take the Lead Role in US Feature Film The Last Immortal,”  ArmDJ - Nightlife Forum  adds,  “Countless U.S. casting directors are being drawn to the methodology and work-ethic of these actors; their facility with accents and comedic timing are an irresistible lure.” Bolin’s appeal to audiences has also drawn the attention of Regal Magazine, which writes, “Bolin has exploded onto the acting scene, with 2015 promising to be a huge year; this Swedish/Brazilian heartthrob is not only capable of portraying royalty, his versatility is endless.”
